How do i transfer soft coarl like a mushroom, to another rock?

Most people take the mushrooms and cut them down the middle (or into 1/4ths) with a razor blade. You then want to tie them down to the other rock or put them in a dish with rocks onto which they will attach over a few weeks.

Search online for "fragging mushrooms" or "fragging discosoma" and you should get some good illustrated hits.
