How does this sound...

I am trying to get some opinions about my 29g. I'm kind of new to stocking such a big tank.

I was thinking of doing like:
3-5 corys
2 rams (maybe)
6 or 7 tetras

Would this be too much? For the tetras I was going to go with like cardinals but then I saw some glolite tetras? Would those work with rams, I really haven't heard a lot about them. Then I also saw some emerald cories, but I wasn't sure how big they'd get or should I just get some julis or something? Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Looks good, but if the rams are a pair they might harass the corys

I've got cories in with my Rams, and no problems. They generally keep to themselves. Good setup IMO. Could even do 3-4 Otos as well. Rams won't bother them either.

the setup sounds good to me...i wonder if it could be possible to do two pairs of rams?

In a 29G, Bolivian Rams only 1 pair. GBR's can do 2 or 3 pairs no problem. Just make sure you have some larger plants to break up some areas, so when one pair spawns, the rest can take cover if needed.

Agree with LWB, rams and cory's no probs, add the Otto's for the clean up job, Bristlenose cats do a good job as well but unlikely you would get the Rams to breed successfully due to the stress from the larger BN
