okay last night i went to my lfs to just look around and they had kribs in. so i had gottin 2 of them (male and female). i have been waiting for my lfs in get them in again. anyway by the time i added them to my tank it was time to turn the lights off, so i didn't really get a good look at them in my tank. so this morning when i got up they where swimming around the tank together (side by side). and i think they are my new favorite. they are so much more beautiful once they get home from the lfs. anyway to get to my point is there a chance i can get more of them or are you only suppose to have 2 to a tank.

Off the top of my head I would say that you could easily get 3-4 breeding pairs at once. Assumeing that this is a standard 90 gallon (48x18 footpring). In a larger tank like this, most of the other fish are going to have some place to go if they get harrased by a pair of the kribs. However if for some strange reason all pairs breed at once then you may run into some problems.

I would say to be on the safe side try no more than 3 pair and see how it goes.

well that is nice to hear i just really love this fish. and yes it is the standard 48" by 18" 90 gal. now if adding more kribs should i just go and buy another pair so i would have 2 male and 2 females or should i do a male and female ratio. maybe 2 males to 4 females?

I think you should try the single pair on for size. Any fry they have in the tank will eventually be picked off by tankmates without prevention but while the fry are around their parents will do their best to keep preds at bay. They don't just stay in the one territory either. Once the fry are freeswimming the parents take them for strolls and whomever happens upon a brood of krib fry and their weary parents will get a good chase and/or nip for it.

I currently have 2 pair in my 90 and things are good so far. One of my females did a disappearing act for about a week a little while back so I'm assuming she had eggs and did a very good job of hiding. But alas no babies this time around. I don't know if I would do more but that is just personal opinion.
