How many Dwarf Gourami's can you have in one tank? Will they start to kill each other?

totally depends on the gouramis and the size of the tank. They can be a lot like bettas in that they have big personalities. SOME of them will fight and kill any other fish you put with them...and some of them are completely docile. I usually suggest one in a community tank that is any smaller than about 30-40 gallons just in case you get one that needs the space. I wouldn't suggest getting anymore for your 29 if you were thinking of trying to add one to there. If anything I might add some bottom dwellers like cories.

for a dwarf..and your tank in the sig..i would say one, you may be lucky and MAYBE two could get along

ok.. thanks for the help. the two i have in there now get along fine. i also have provided plenty of space for them to hide too.
