I have 5 rainbow sharks (had 6 but one jumped up into my filter and got hacked up from the impeller) that I just got Friday. One or two of them have been eating some flake food that has floated down toward the bottom, but most of the time they're too busy swimming around and playing to eat the food that's floating right by them. I also have some Marineland bottom feeder food that I've been dropping in there. They seem to graze it but not much. Do these fish just not need that much food or are they just not eating. It seems that with their active life they'd eat a lot.

They might eat more when you're not watching. if you've seen them eat thats a good thing, it means they know that food is available. If they get small or skinny it might be a problem but for now I wouldn't worry.
