agreed and for a 90 gallon you will end up wanting to buy probably 100 lbs atleast, and if you buy all 100lbs you can get the cost down significantly, as apposed to buying like 10 lbs at a time 100lbs would be much cheaper in the long run

Ha Camaro, is more rock bad? I mean will to much rock harm something. and you need like 100 lbs for a 90 huh? I wonder what you need for a 180? 200lbs? that is a lot of $$. I think I might get a little more LR, just cuz I like the look of more. After importent stuff though.

And I would buy in bulk for shure, you can find some good LR deals online!

For a start know that all this lbs per gallon business is driven by how dense the stuff is, but as you are unlikely to see Tampa Bay brickrock in Aus you will likely be going with about 1 kilo per 10 litres. Too much doesn't hurt till you have no swimming space.
And try to keep the structure fairly airy as that helps a lot too.

I wasnt saying a pund per gallon thing it is usually just what looks aestitically correct to you, for me I have about 140 lbs in my 90 gallon and 75 lbs in my 40 gallon, just a personal preference though
