Why did you post this again? You got answers on the other thread. If you want someone to just give you a number, I think you're going t be disappointed, because there is no cut and dried answer, it depends on what kind of substrate, what you're planting, and what you prefer visually. The general rule, from what I remember is 1" to 2", which often translates to 1 to 2 lbs per gallon. I had 55 pounds of gravel in my 55 gallon (non planted), and it was a good depth. I ordered 60 pounds of eco complete for the same 55 gallon, which I'm hoping will be enough. Does that help?

I basically just said what they said. You're welcome. Is there a reason you laugh so much in your posts? I know you've announced that you don't care about your grammar, but it does make them a bit harder to read. Good luck with your tank.

Ok. I'm glad you're happy, but could you stop posting things multiple places? You have this same question posted in the plant department, and you posted virtually identical threads about 3 hours apart on here. Also, there are very few questions that have straightforward "right" answers, so you may need to be a little more patient both in terms of waiting for responses, and in terms of being willing to sort through the info provided to find what exactly you want.

Guys, if multiple posts are bugging you, the best thing you can do is to hit the report button so the mods can get to them and clean them up :) I've combined these two as well D'Cecilia.

Fair enough. I didn't even think about that. Sorry if I offended anyone. And D'Cecilia, I didn't mean to pick on you, just want you to be able to get the best info possible.
