How much to feed common pleco?

I have a 13" common pleco and I'm currently feeding it 2 algae wafers per day. Can anyone tell me how if I'm feeding the pleco enough? It only eats in the dark (at night with lights off) so I can't really see how fast it eats the food. The fish appears to be very healthy and doesn't look skinny at all. It just seems like two small algae wafers isn't enough for such a large fish.

The best way to tell is by looking at his stomach. If its suken in then he isnt getting enough.

Thanks for your quick response. "Peanut's" stomach does not appear sunken at all. I don't want to overfeed or underfeed. It just seems like he gets so little for being so big.

Fish have fairly small stomachs compared to their size. I think two wafers a day is enough for a plec that size. He probably eats bits of flake from the substrate, too.

a thing i learned is, a fishes eye is roughly the size of its stomache. not sure if thats the case in all fish, but for the majoraty thats it
