How to buy a large tank?

I'm addicted I admit it.

First I bought a 29-Gallon and then a 72-Gallon Bow.
Just got a 5 1/2 hospital tank, but that doesn't really count.

Now I want more and bigger.

But how?

I live in a rural area in NJ and the closest LFS is 25 minutes from me. I have no one in my house to help me move the tanks. My wife is pregnant and asking the neighbors is not something I feel comfortable doing. Asking friends to come over to lift a tank is also awkward.

Are there any delivery companies that will move the tanks into any area of the house for me?

Alot of times, if you have a strong relationship w/ your LFS dealer, he/she will be glad to help you out with those things. If you are spending that much time in his shop, and spending $$, why wouldn't he help you out.

I just bought a 90 gallon bow front/trickle filter/UV Sterilizer and misc stuff. He put it in his van on a Sat, came over and we installed it.

First, I would build the relationship....mention that you would like to purchase a moster tank but have no means of transporting or setting it up and see what he says...

Yep. The LFS probably has a van or truck because they have to deliver the tank to their fish store also. They probably charge like $50.

I have a SUV so I'm just in need of a helper.

Most of the kids year are either grown up or too young.

My first son will be born anyday, but I won't have him lifting anything for some time now.

Thanks for the insight, I just have to get to the LFS. Can't really do it until the baby is born.

I was just hoping that there might be a place to order from, but I'm guessing that's not the case.

Thanks again, everyone.
