How to catch a gorilla crab?

As above I've tryed stabing him but he's really fast . I want to try a shot glass but im concerned about what bait to use and will it foul the water etc ?

Just try a small piece of food, after a day or two replace the food with fresh. Any type of aquatic raw meat would be fine, shrimp, oyster, or fish.

I had one of these crabs when I first set up my tank. Caught him pretty easy with the coke bottle trick. Set the bottle up when I went to bed and caught by the next morning.
