how to clean sw tank????

i had my tank up for about 3 months then eveything died. the tank has sat with nothing in it other then rocks and sand for the last 2 months now i want to put it back up what should i use to clean the tank ,rocks and sand or should i just get new rocks and sand?????

um....why did everything die? you might want to figure that out before you set everything up again. What kind of rock is it, is it live rock and live sand? has there been water in it this whole time? if so what are you parameters.

After I'd worked out why everything died I'd probably jsut let everything sit in a bucket of ultra saline water
