How to cycle a SW tank without fish

I read on the internet that you can cycle a tank without fish but it didnt say how, does anyone know how to.

Your LR will cycle the tank for you when you set it up.

You can also cycle your tank prior to adding live rock by introducing an ammonia source. This can be either adding fish food or cocktail shrimp which will create ammonia as they decay. This jumps starts the bacteria. By using live rock whether cured or uncured the decay on the rock will do the same thing......read the stickies and research setting up a marine aquarium.......good luck
