hey guyz i jus wanted to kno how reely iz it dat u make water changes in a saltwater tank and if i should start makin dem or just wait till my cycle process ends den start making it?
Well saltwater changes are basiclly the same as freshwater, just take out the water and add mixed salt water back in with correct temp and pH as close as possible.
As for the cycle, did you add live rock for your cycle?
what OCC says is the truth...for future reference it will be easier for your fellow members to read your posts and then help you with your problems if you can use proper spelling and grammar...
I would leave your tank until the cycle has finished and then start your weekly water changes. If you do them during your cycle you will only prolong the cycle.
if ammonia and nitrate climbs too high, water changes are a must or more things will start dying because of the added stress on the already burdened system
Are you cycling with/without live rock? Where are you at now. If I was cycling with live rock or damsels , yes I would change some water to stop me killing everything.

If there is no live stock in the tank why would you bother w/Water changes anything that survived transport and came on the LR would be fine! this will just proling the cycle (IMO)
If you have Live stock then ya I would do small water changes. I was just assuming he didn't.
You might want to do water changes to try to preserve the life that is on the live rock that other wise will be killed by exposure to polluted water. It has nothing to do with stopping/prolonging the cycling process as if you can stop stuff dying your cycle is finished already, as you bought in a pretty complete bunch of bacteria.
