I have officially begun raising Sea Monkeys!!!!!! I was beginning to think i did it wrong but i awoke this morning and found them hatched and swimming around! I am so excited! When they get big enough to show up on camera i will take pictures. right now they are specs haha. Aren't you guys so proud of me?!?

I have a bunch of them myself. the container said 3 days but it takes mine about 5 to hatch. good fish food

Mine only took 3, it said 24 hours on mine so i thought i did it wrong lol

Sea monkeys are the same thing as brine shrimp, right?

I believe so, if not they are in the same family.

There are several vids on youtube - just enter the search term DIY brine shrimp hatchery. My question though is: what to feed the brine shrimp so they grow into adults.

Funny! My kids have 'grown' the seamonkeys and they once did a similar thing, but the critters looked like little horseshoe crabs. Gawd they were ugly.. and lived a long time too.
