huge poo

hi im relitivly new to this hoopy abt 2 months.

i have a 10 gal tank with 1 female platy 1 sil shark 5 glowlight tetras and 4 neon tetras.

my question is the shark and the platy seem to be having super poos i mean the poo is twice the size of the fish in lenth is this normal. i had two mollys and a male platy who dies and had the same symptoms but the mollys poo was red in parts.????

am i over feeding or have i got sommat more sinister going on?????

What are you feeding? The shark and platy's are bigger than usual poopers.

trobical fish food i did try a bit of ham once and thay all went mad fer it

platys (and pl*cos) do "super-poos" as you put it - twice the body length is perfectly normal - although not a pretty sight (especially on a big pl*c) it's nothing to worry about

at least you know he's eating - lol
