I dont know if this works or not but i was reading that if you put the maxi jet mod propeller on the K4 that it will double the flow! that would bump it up to 2400 gph.. i may just try this, does anyone know where to get the maxi jet mod from?

i found a local guy selling the mod for like 23.00 is that a good price? .. do you think a #4 will be to much for a 55g?

not too much if u want sps...maybe over kill once modded for just softies

I think a modded up 4 in a 55 would be fine if you are going bb......but be prepared for a major sandstorm otherwise
