Hydro Sponges

Ok, first.....i really haven't looked into these all the way.

Do these pump water or take water in?

And these hook up to.......? A air pump? A powerhead?

I think there a large sponge filter unless i'm thinking of somethng else. you would use a air pump if it fit a power head would work it will pull water through the sponge and up the tube then out into the tank.

Yes thats what i am talking about.........so does it have 2 tubes?

It pulls water from the tank through the sponge then back into the tank through another tube?

I really can't find a diagram that shows or explains this.

see if this helps this is the hagen on sponge version should still help on some sponge filters the air tube mayy be an air lind and air stone in side the main tube that pulls out water.
