I have a 100 gallon tank and PH levels are close to 6.5-6.6. I have been trying to raise the PH for the last week with Proper PH as well as PH Increase. I am getting nothing. Any suggestions??

It is better to have a steady, constant ph then trying to achieve an 'ideal' ph! Attempting to change ph can cause ph fluctuations which is much worst for the fish. A ph of 6.5 is quite close to 7.0 therefore I would not worry about it.

Btw, what is your hardness? Have you tried leaving the water stand for a couple of days with aertion to let CO2 and other gasses dissapate?

Fully agrre with ole' red- it's far more important to have a balnced pH than worrying about a 0.4 increase (and I understand what that means in terms of ion concentrations honest!)- especially when you are so close to 7.0.
You could also be sending your hardness all over the place by adding proper ph in large quantities.
I use proper ph 7.0 - and have a very stable pH andhardness of about 6.7. Also when I had a failure in my CO2 valve- and it dumoed an entire bottle in during the night- the buffering capacity only moved the pH to 6.6- I'm sure that helped me save a lot of fish (I lost about 6 cardinals)... so don't stress !

he probably means the water your using for water changes, the pH will often shift quite a bit when left stagnant, due to the dissipation of chemicals like co2 in the water, i would just leave it, oscars will do fine in pH 6.5-7.5 and high and lower just leave it steady that is the most important, we have oscars here that thrive here (are non-native) in very bad conditions from very dirty canals with no water movement to brackish water

As Soulfish said about leaving the water stand! My tap water straight out of the tap is 7.0 ph! If I leave if stand in a container for a day or two, the ph rises to 7.8! Usually not a concern if your only doing 20% water changes weekly but with my discus Im doing 50-70% daily. Now thats a big problem so I have to 'age' my water!
