My new buddy! He stood out from all the others in the tank. He was the biggest & the most dominant, but he seemed to be the most passive of all. He was the only one that hid when I stuck my mug up to the tank. He was also the only one without black spots, which indicates "purer" genes. Note the red eyes :)

When I introduced him to the tank, he swam up to my GT, the GT made a little shutter, and that was that! No agression at all. He is still acclimating.

Nice looking fish. Sounds like you've just purchased the perfect tank mate also. Good luck it sounds like an interesting tank, ive never kept large fish. :rolleyes: lol someday. Maybe you can get some pics of him and the GT.

Beautiful fish there Avalon. You guys are all really making me want to get the 45gallon tank up and running posting such nice pics of these big fish. I'm a bit jealous. Someday. Bide your time Monty....
