I've got 4 Clown Loaches- 3 of which have that look of getting skinny that I'm all too familiar with. They have fabulous appetites and always get that funny bump on their bellies after a bloodworm dinner, but they're still getting thinner on top.
Does this sound like wasting disease and if so, what is the best method of treatment? I have some gel that I used before, but the fish don't like it and I've found it rather ineffective. I've also heard of using the Maracyn (or whatever it's called) and something else, but in half doses. Any clearification on that?
My friend gave me his old 20g for my birthday yesterday, so I've got a QT and cycled filter ready if they need to be taken out.
Thanks!
