I finally dived into a nano

I finally started my 10 gallon nano setup yesterday after a month or 2 of listening from this wonderful website. 10lbs of live sand and 3 lbs of lr oh ya 2 mini compact lights and 5 gallons of ocean ready water and ive already spent 200 dollars lol I forgot to get a hydrometer so ya I gutta get that today but Ive noticed that life has already formed in the tank its weird to me cause I'm used to seeing nothing in a tank during cycling
( I started my fish craze with cichilds) lol . I have lots of lil creatures crawling round the tank and moving on the lr.

such is the joy of live rock...i think you are going to want/need more LR though in the near future

I bought 15 more lbs of it actually 10 lbs of baserock and the rest was finger like lr for only 8 dollars and 50 cents gotta love lfs stores highschool workers and their knowledge lol I got my hydrometer today too and its at 1.032 what do I do to get that down?

Take out some tank water and add frsh water (non salty). You'll want to do about 20% (1.032 * .8 = 1.0256)
