:'( After much reading and thought, I know now that I am not ready for Discus.  I've been to many sites and read every post I could find {my brain is swollen}  and I can admit that I do not have enough experience as of yet...Thanks for all the feedback on the prev. posts.  I will go "in search of....." once again on the quest for another species of chichlid which is a little easier to maintain. *celebratesmiley*

Maybe you could get some kribs or rams. there nice south american chichilid.

Congused, thank you for waiting. these guys are definately worth waiting for.

I know they're "common" but angels are fabulous fish~! Especially in a herd. Just remember, 10g per fish as they can and will get huge with the right care. You ever seen angels dance? It's an incredible sight.

Thanks for the support.  I am thinking about either a S american or S african species tank.  I've got 2 angels and a few tetras in a 10 gal tank.  I'm thinking of getting a 29 gal for the angels pretty soon.  They are getting pretty big, they rule the tank and are hogs.  But they are beautiful and they love their "mommy".  Got them for my 10 year old son, but you can guess who takes care of them.  Anyway, thanks as always for the replies.  I just love this site!!!!!!! *thumbsupsmiley*
