I got a male and a female and they mated as soon as I put them in there. I noticed something. The male seems to put the flakes in his mouth and then smaller bits of the flake flows out his gill and then the females eats them. Sometimes the female does that. I read somewhere that they do that to feed their fry so I guess they're already practicing for breeding a brood or something. The male interacts with me. The female is busy checking out places right now. *GOLDFISH*
