I just got back from out of town and noticed that one of my little scaly critters laid eggs on the top of my Eclipse 3 filter intake tube (on the motor housing). Some of the eggs are milky, some are a dark brown and some are eaten. I don't know how long they have been there.
My questions are this:
1. Whose eggs are they? The only egg layers I have are my BP's (6" and 4") and angels (silver dollar size...bought them nickle size...appreciation I guess).
2. I know the milky ones are probably "dead". But what about the brownish colored ones...are these potential babies? What do I do if they are?
This is exciting but a whole new frontier for me. Can anyone give me some advise on what to do next or if/when this happens the next time.
THANKS!!!!!!!
