I got my Ram!

I gopt my ram today and it is a she, i was thinking of getting her a mate when aquatouch gets some more fish in this friday. I also gave my little brother a 2.5 gallon and my betta so he could learn what to do and hopefully get him into the hobby. The two rams will be the only fish besides the kuhli loach in my ten gallon.

Yay Ram Man! I was thinking about getting a pair of rams for my 10g but once I heard they get aggressive when they breed I only got a male. Besides, I didn't have an extra tank to breed them. Good Luck!

she isnt the most colorful but is out and eating after an hour out of the bag, i aclimated her for an hour an she is doing great!

thats what I did with my ram;acclimating him for an hour. I just wanted to make sure he was comfortable lol.

the pet store i want to was awsome, they had marimo balls which i have never seen out here, they also had glosso and dwarf hair grass, i got the hair grass. and my ram was the last one, she was all alone and came up to the glass when i looked in. im pretty sure shes a female, small, some blue in the outer edges in the black dot and hew dorsal fin is more rounded. they also had these 6 inch saltwater feeder shrimp, and they are the only store out here that carries actual brackish fish in brackish water.

coolfish, from what you have posted in the past about never testing your water i would not reccomend a ram for you, they need prestine water conditions to live.
