its like , plant like stick. i just bought a plant at petsmart and i put the plant in there along with a snail. after i put in the plant, i later saw a bug that looked almost like the sticks of the plant. its green.

Probably a dragonfly nymph, which will eat fish. Get it out asap.

yeah, about getting it out, i cant see it.. its well adapted to the plant i just got..

I'd take the plant out and put it in a bucket or something until it gets out.

well ,im not sure if its still in the plant, when i saw it, it was near the glass .. soo im just wondering if theres any chemicals to kill that lil bastard. but not harming the fishes.



well i took a closer look of the plant and it happens to have a spherical transparent what i think is an egg with hella pests....is that what i think it is or , do i leave it there?

I would take the plant out and rinse it very well. You should do this with all new plants so you don't introduce these little critters. As for getting him out now that he's in.... I have no idea!! Best of luck!

I would take the plant out ASAP and isolate it in a bucket. Pick off anything that looks like eggs or bugs. If you leave it in there, those eggs will hatch and you will suddenly have tons of bugs in your tank. As for the bug that is already in there, how big was it? If it was smaller, it may have been eaten already by a fish.

it was pretty small, and im not worried anymore, i rinsed it with tap water pretty good. and i threw away some plants that were not so green so it couldnt hide..
