I have a 20 gal. long tank i would like to know what kind of fish are good Alge Eaters and cleaners, because my Plec*ostomus died not to long ago so i would like to what fish would be good to take his place and would work with my current stock?

also, i was wondering does anyone know where i could get a zebra Ple*co and how much they cost?

VERY pricy, about $100 or up, unless you are insanely lucky, and you might find one for $80. Don't know where you'd get one, but I'd imagine it would have to be a pretty darn good LFS.

Actually the price on zebra plecos is going up even further now that Brazil has stopped exports to allow the levels in the wild to re-establish. Plan on spending about $150 per pleco if you can find them. You can still get lucky and find one on aquabid for about $100, but then usually spend another 40-60 on shipping.

I would recommend you get some amano shrimp for that tank. You don't say what kind of algae you have, though. Your almost at your stocking limit for a 20g. A pleco of any kind isn't really happy in tanks smaller than a 30g.

Also, please reconsider your goldfish in a 2.5g tank. Goldfish need 10 to 15g per fish, so either find a 30g tank, or find them another home. :)
