Well, I got 3 pygmy corys the other day and I absolutely LOVE them! They are so much fun to watch and do a great job of cleaning up excess food on the bottom. And how can you resist them when they are so small?!? I am going to get two more eventually. I heard they prefer groups.

So if anyone has a small tank, (mine is a 10g), I think the pygmys are the way to go!!

Once my new angels settle in, I'm planning on a small grouping of them to finish off the tank... They look like fun! I hadn't thought of them for the 10 gallon, but my betta is pretty mellow so they would probably do just fine in there as well

I have a 40 long here with about 18 of them.
They are housd with black Moscow guppies.
They do best on a fine substrate such as pool filter sand or Schultz aquatic soil.

I was actually planning to put a few of these in my 5 gallon with a betta to keep the bottom of my tank tidy. They look adorable.

You haven't had any problems with them being in the same tank as the Otto? Origionally I was considering adding them for my 10G but I thought my cory would rather have a bottom dwelling buddy his own size.

No issues between the corys and the otto, but I think I am going to have to add another otto. It has a tendency to spaz out if someone walks by the tank or looks at. It gets all frantic and swims in crazy circles/lines until it hides again. I know they prefer company so hopefully a friend will calm him down.

They are so cute I just had to have them! And they are really fun to watch - much more active than full sized corys I think. They don't just sit on the bottom, the swim in the plants, up to the top and back down.

Get some - they are the best cory IMO

I just picked up a trio of these and they're hanging out in my QT tank. They're so adorable and so active. I think they're going to end up in my new 5G once it's done cycling.
