I need Balloon Molly Help please! :(

#1
Hello, I need help with a georgeous black balloon Molly of mine. For quite a while now, he's been flicking like crazy, and hiding from the other fish(particularly and worrisomely around the filter). The other fish seem to want to chase him more than each other for some reason... (they are balloon mollys as well) They seem PERFECTLY fine and healthy. And I cannot tell if there are any white spots...apparently he has little silvery specks in him normally, so its hard to tell. His tail fin seems to be clamping a bit as well, and he's not having an easy time swimming around the tank. He's such a sweet fish, I hate the thought of losing him!!! :(

By the way.... My tank has a .25 rating on ammonia...This has stressed me out like crazy....other than that, all the readings(nitrate, nitrite) are ok...the PH is a bit high, but has been that way for quite a while..

I always use salt in the water, as one time I did not and they did not seem to like that at all, so I've pretty much always used the salt other than that. (it's sea salt)

Because I was worried about him, I've used both Pima fix and Mela Fix just in case...I've read over and over that they were safe to use together. I've used it according to the instructions.

I do not currently have an "extra" tank set up, so I cannot quarantine fish. When I DID have an extra tank, the fish always seem to get worse for some reason and die on me, so I've always been nervous about switching fish from tank to tank.

Also, another thing on my mind....I was always under the impression that if I DID have to transport fish, that doing it with my hands is actually safer than nets. I felt this to be true, because when I used nets, sometimes fins got split or ripped, or fish got wounds on their bodies. Ever since I started using my hands, fish seem to have been harmed a LOT less. However what I'm worried about now is that I'm wondering if it could cause MORE foreign bacteria to invade the tank and the fish? I always am sure to wash my hands and rinse them throughly before handling fish, or even sticking them in the tank for that matter.

I just need help. *sigh*

Oh and at the moment I'm quite BROKE, so I cannot buy anything until the very end of the month/beginning of next month.

I've got to get ready to leave for the gym, but when I get back I will see if I can post pics.
