I had a problem with brown algae coating my plants and other decor in my tank.  I added some Oto's and they got rid of the algae.  Problem is now they got rid of ALL of it and have nothing left to eat.  I bought some algae flake but it all usually get's sucked into the filter or gets eaten by the other fish.  I also have never seen the Ot's eat the flakes.  So I either want to do something to get more algae to grow or find a better way to supplement the Otos diet.  Any suggestions?

Feed the ottos at night. At least the other fish will not see the wafers floating in the water and the ottos should be able to get some.

Buy a sinking algae or spinicula(sp?) wafer. Don't try to put extra flakes in there for ottos.

Like ron said, add it after lights out and they should get some. But it may also depend whatelse is in the tank.
