I just bout a catfish , and the said it was a Choco??? or something like that.. the lady didnt really know, but it is small about 1and a half inches long, brown in color,with some cream spots in the tail, looks preistoric, very flat head and body with a big mouth?? if any one has any idea.. let me know.. thanks alot!!!!

but it doesn't fit your description - this one has stripes along its body
gonna need a pic of yours to get it right.........(sounds like a shovelnose of some sort)

Sounds like you've got Chaca chaca, the 'Frogmouth Catfish' or one of the other species of Chaca. Here's a link with some information: http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/chaca_chaca.htm
