I need soulfish

Help!! I am starting to cycle my tank. What cichlids can I put in there. I want some mean ones that doesn't rip ( I want to breed )each other apart?

Africans or SA???

You can get some convicts.......They'll breed you out of a house........but I wouldn't recommend you putting anything with them.........

I have Jack's and Firemouths together.......They do fine and I've breeded both......

It is a 30 gallon. What is easiest to breed? I heard convicts do well.....

convicts are extremely easy to breed and you will have fry out the wazoo (i feed my fry to my other fish), theyd do great in a 30gal, make sure you only get a pair though, they get super agressive when rbeeding

females have a colorful belly and are generally more colorful overall, males have humped head when mature

they arent mine...
i found the pics on the net to let you have a "clear" view on how a female is .... and how a male is...
i had convicts but dont have now...yet...
they are very cheap dont worry about prices..

you can get them for a dollar a piece around here, its almost impossible to find someone who will take all babies, but other fish will love the tasty treat
