ok so ihave kept 2 adfs with my male betta (leo) for nearly a year now but recently i've been noticing one adf attacking leos fins especially at feed time, so i thought i would keep an eye on them then last night i noticed leo had a bit of fungus i assume from a nip so i thought that today i would put the frogs into my other tankto give leo some peace and treat him for fungus but this mornin he is dead!!! all the literature says they are fine together but i don't agree!! how about u guys???

I've heard that ADFs can get grabby with long-finned fish like bettas, especially if the betta is hogging all the food, but since ADFs are toothless, I doubt the frogs nipped your betta's fins. The most damage they could do would be with their small claws, but the fungus on your betta's fin sounds like it might have been fin rot. What are your water parameters right now?
