I want to breed my bettas

I have two males i have a white one posted in this forum and a crowntail betta that is red and white. I am going to buy a female soon. I am off school now so i have plenty of time for it i get up at 9 and sit around the house all day.. Can someone give me some links and some supplies i will need.

It takes alot more effort, time, and money than most people think. If you want to breed to make money, do yourself a favor and turn around now. For 1, betta breeding costs as much as it brings in. For 2, you have normal petstore bettas, there is no money to be made there unless you produce extreem bulk, which I am guessing you can't do since this sounds like it's just a hobby for you.

No they are not Bridish. They are egg layers, and most of them use a bubble nest, but some are mouth brooders..

If you really want to breed good quality bettas, check out Welcome to BETTATALK, the ultimate betta site for all betta lovers... like Virgo suggested, and invest in one of Faith's trios that she has for sale. She pairs the fish up for you so you don't have to worry about genetics, but they are like $100 for a trio. That's a great site for basic info too.
