About how he was eventually going to grow really big.

Would a 75 gallon be fine to put him in if he grows 20 inches or so? Or is something bigger needed? What's the cost of a 75 gallon fish tank?

Also, what kind of fish could I put in with pleco if I put him in a 75 gallon?

)20 inches! wow they grow em big where you live!;) pl*cos are a good fish to help clean your tank, and ive only seen them about 8-10 inches, but i guess they could get bigger in a large tank. ive had two in my 55 before and they only got 6 inches long. (which is still pretty big.)

what size tank do you have. there are some plecos that are more colorful or stripey than common pl*cos and they dont get as big. zebra plecos are lovely to look at, but the price is a little steep (20-50 buck for one!). the price is why i havent picked one up yet, and common pl*cos only cost around $2 a peice.

a 75 gallon tank can run from 60-100 bucks in a store(thats if you get lucky too!:D) check ebay first or local garage sales and sale adds, sometimes you can get a whole setup for that price.

you can put alot of fish in with plecos from tetras to cichlids. make sure you give them caves to hide in too, they like it.:D

hope i helped you out!

nothings better than a south american pleco tank.lota rocks, sand, and fine gravel one large pleco,a shoal of corys, maybe some wild guppys or tetras maybe some apistos,or blue rams.most plecos don't get to 20 inches but it does happen.if you intened on growing a 20 incher you'll want closer to a 125-150 gallon and couple of high flow power heads, feed lots a food and have real good filtration.for a 12-15 inch pleco 75-80 gallons is fine.ask if you have more questions
