Iam looking to start a saltwater tank

im getting a 55 gallon tank set up..im pretty sure i want to do a saltwater reef...i wanted to know wut i should/need to get to do this..i wanted imput from u guys before i go to my LFS..you guys have been a great help..

Basically check out the link Kahlua gave, and all the rest of the SW stickies as well. A good book is another good idea... I've got "The conscientious marine aquarist" by Fenner and a lot of people also recommend "The new marine aquarium" by Paletta.
