Ich from feeder fish

MY 70 gallon got ich from some feeder fish that i borought home it just popped up. I used rid ich on the feeder fish that are now in a ten gallon but dont want to use it on the severum and oscars and convict so can you give me any tips on getting this in line im currently setting my heater to go up to 84 for a couple weeks the spots are allover the tails but its not that bad yet

use some aquarium salt with the temp. rising...i forgot how much salt to add though....maybe someone else will chime in with that answer :)

I see...I see...a well-maintained quarantine tank in your future!

Ich from feeders is extremely common. Especially with Rosies and Goldfish. Also, you need to consider that with the predators eating the treated fish, they'll still be getting dosed with malachite or victoria green. :/

Not many well cared-for aquariums suffer mortalities from infestations of ich. You're treating it like you should, so I'd expect everything to be a-okay so long as you don't substitute table salt for aquarium or kosher salt.

Other than that, I'd expect everyone to pull through just fine. :)
