my bala shark, jean luke picard, died today...and i think he had ich...i think my other bala shark has it too...but none of the other fish in that tank look like it...they had white spots, but really really little ones, and they werent spots as much as "things" they kinda looked like airbubbles on the fish sorta. So...i threw the other bala shark in a different tank so that if he has something he wouldnt give it to my other fish, and i treated my tank with the salt treatment that i read about on here...so I hope all goes well...all my other fish seem fine... just the two bala sharks got it.

If it comes back use garlic powder,Not garlic Salt!1/2 tsp per 50gallons.Alot have used it with great results.Refer to http://www.apistogramma.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=596 for more on the subject.

I've heard of garlic treatment myself, but I was under the impression that the fish had to ingest it, as in powered mixed on their food.

hes still the only one that has it...its gotten a little worse...but not terrible. The tank that he was in...that has most of my fish in it seems to be doing fine.
