Ive got a planted 10g low tec aquarium housing a few too many guppies. For what seems like months now, I've watched my guppies rub against the sand or a large rounded rock. But only occationally. Also, when one of them does they will do it 3-4 times in a row.
I thought it might be ich at first, but I havnt seen any abnormal scale spots or any other signs of the disease.
Could it be ich, or am I just paraniod?
The reason I ask, is I'm thinking about converting the tank to something else, maybe a puffer, maybe some swords, dunno yet. But I figured I ought to maybe nail down whats up with my guppies & treat the tank (if needed) before I threw something new in there.
If I convert to something new, I have a home for the guppies already lined up.
