Ich Outbreak

I have just had an outbreak of ich. I have put Nox-Ich in the water for three days now. It seems to help the fish (except for my pictus who is now dead ). Is there any other things I should do to keep the ich from recurring.

Always quarantine your new fish. It really helps.

Usually raising the temperature a little helps - Ich can't live in higher temperatures . I've also used some aquarium salt w/ raising the temp and that has worked, although I don't know if it was the temp or the salt that did it. I probably wouldn't use the salt though since you've already put in medicine.
