There is SO much info on here about Ich Rx with aquarium salt, that I could be reading for hours to find the answer to my one question. Could someone please help?

Have had tanks for over 2 years now and experiencing Ich for the first time. Bought a new fish yesterday and did not quarantine first. This fish now showing signs of Ich.

I have all the info I need about Rx with aquarium salt and temp increase.

MY QUESTION IS....will the salt harm my plants (wisteria, red ludwigia, java fern, and anubia), Cory Cats and Oto Cat??

Thanks!

I have anubias, java fern, & otos. I keep 1Tsp/5gal aquarium salt in my tanks and they do just fine. My LFS says they keep 1Tsp/5gal salt in all their freshwater tanks.
