I removed a guppy from Fern Valley cuz I noticed she had some white spots on her tail. I've never seen it on anything before, I assume this is the ich everyone is talking about. I put her into quarantine with the light off to let her calm down.
This morning when I went down I noticed that her tail is split. But it's a weird split, not all the way through. Picture this: guppy body, start of tail, split lenghtwise......., end of tail fully intact. I hope you see what I mean. Anyway, lots of water goes through that split so she uses it extra hard to swim, which of course makes it worse. It's possible I did this when trying to catch her cuz she kept trying to bury herself in the fry grass to avoid the net, but I'm not sure.
So do I treat for ich?
