I have two moore goldfish and I have had them for about two weeks now. They got ick yesterday so I went out and bought some medicine for them, I followed all of the directions on it.. but the next day my fish look even worse, it seems like all of the white dots are off of them but one of them has a puffy eye and now they are sitting at the bottom and they won`t move at all. They looks terrible.

They are also starting to loose some of the color, they used to be completely black but now they are fading orange, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

they probably have a parasite is wat his white eye is i think is a fungus but just cuz ick looks gone doesnt mean it is im dealing with ick right now also ive lost 2 fish from it already plus gold fish are disgusting fish i hate them well good luck

It can take some time for ich to go away once you start treating. Understanding the lifecycle of ich helps you understand how the parasite works.

Zach, can you give us some more info? What size tank are the fish in, what is the nitrite, ammoina, nitrate, and ph. How often do you clean the gravel and do water changes. What type of med did you use? did you turn off the lights and remove any carbon? I may have a few more, but I can help you if you give more info.

More info would be helpful. I had a fish get ich a couple of months ago and for the first few days of treatment it did look like it was getting worse. I treated for a full two weeks to make sure.
