Ideal temperature

Just found that in my tank, the best temperature is 81.5..my corals are fully opened in the night and during the day, they look better. Might be near the 84 degree limit, but i think it's much better than colder water. My umbrella coral that i cut in 2 is only opening when it's 81-82.
I was at 76-78.

Also...i have 0 algae in my front glass...i mean really 0 ! Byebye green spots..tnx my new lighting, tnx ro/di...and tnx guys

interesting...i keep mine at 79...might have to try boosting it up

congrats. always keep mine at 80. give or take half a degree. my fish seem to like that just fine. but i have some elgea spots on my front glass, maybe ill give it a go. thanks

i meant the metal halide + ro/di = no green spots.
I don't think the temp will change the algae growing

I keep mine at 76, I tried to raise the temp once but found I got more algea. Everything seems to grow well in my tank, but I do not have much in it.
