Identifing the parents.....

I recently found 5 little fry swimming about in my 55gallon tank. Is there anyway I can identify the parents? The fry are really small and I cant identify who is the parents. Should I look for any marks on the parents or something??

What kind of fish are in the tank? and how many of each?

There is......

3 red zebras
2 Rustys
2 Aratus'
2 cobalt blue
and some others that are just a single species...

Hmmmm LOL could be any of those.

Its touch identifying many cichlid species before they develop any marks or anything like that.

Malawi cichlids will have a brood and hide it among the rocks and before you know it you have babies all in the rocks.

My suggsetion is to just wait and see. If you have another tank you could move them and grow them out and reintroduce them later.
