Im back!!!!! After almost a year

hey guys I missed this site but I had a house fire and lost all my fish and tanks but today I went garage saling with my parents and picked up a 5 gal tank with everything in it and a brand new filter still in the box for $5 and I went to another one that had a 2 gal tank with everything and it was used once but he was young and killed the fishing sadly but i got it for $.50 cents now I need some ideas on what to buy to put in them... Im going to buy a way bigger one when I get caught up on money but what should I put in my new tanks NO GOLDFISH!!!

You have a ton of options with the 5 gallon tank, a guppy tank would be colorful and fun.

For the smaller one, the only thing you could really keep in there is perhaps a betta, some ghost shrimp and/or a mystery snail? A frog might go in too.

why dont you do a nice planted set up whit the
5 gallon and get a crowntail betta?
I've seen some really really nice nano freshwater
tanks. ahah just a suggestion.

and for the little one i have no clue.

Welcome back, sorry to hear about the loss. My parents had a house fire and it really is hard to imagine unless you go through it.

I like the planted tank idea.

Err i would suggests some babrs or tetras like Tiger barbs, Neon teras. cant go wrong with Neon tetras.
