Hi All.

As I am moving house in a few weeks to go to college it is with great saddness that I have to get rid of my 50g and will be getting a 32g(I'm 90% sure) tank.

I must be easy to keep, small, and actively clean the tank. If possble it should also be cheap(Ill be a student after all) pretty and a non hider!

Do you know one that fits the bill?

L134s IME do a decent job of algae clean up, stay small, are (wile available) normally under 30 USD.

Edit: and yes I know PCF says they don't eat algae.. Maybe mine skiped school that day.

i was curious of the pleco and googled it, that looks just like the zebra pleco. Whats the difference in coloration??

Edit: never mind, the zebras got the stripes more horizontal sp? then the L134.

I guess it's really going to depend on what you can find where you live.

I've been happy with my rubbernosed/rubberlipped/bulldog plecos. They seem friendly, and keep the tanks clean. I've gotten them pretty cheap, but I know prices over here and over there are different.

may i ask what "cheap" means to you? as i am sure that my number would quite different than you.

Well as it stands now I would pay up to 70-100 euro for a fish that I really liked and had the room for. However I be a student in a month and a half so I'll be putting a lmit of 20 euro on all tank related items.
