Well those round objects with grass like growth is riccia which is most likely tied to some round pieces of rocks.  I can't make out those long plants (possibly vals).

But here are some more ideas from the AGA International Aquascaping Contest.

Ok........... The first thing you need would be silica sand, a couple handfulls of fine pea gravel, about 8 Indian water stars(depending on the size of you tank),4-5 fountain plants, about 10 pebbles the size of a tenth of the tanks legnth, and a few pieces of red rock. The gravel and sand should be mixed ,only with a some pea gravel showing at the surface.Plant it with the water stars at the two ends of the tank and the fountain plants in the middle and front ends.Scatter the pebbles around the tank and place the red rock under the water stars or near the roots.

The fish in this setup would be 8-10 green tiger barbs,or if you want you may add tiger barbs in addition to the green and one Red-tipped shark.

The parameters should be as the following
PH 6.5-7.0
DH about 4-6 degrees
Ammonia( that sould be zero)
NitrAte( same as above or atleast  trry to get it close)
And don't forget to cycle the tank ;) ;)
