Hi all! I hope you guys can help me out. I recently won a 55 gallon tanl with a stand and hood for it and my boyfriend and I would like to start up a sw tank. We already heave a 29 gal fw tank and have been very successful with it. But we have no clue what els ewe need for a sw tank. Can someone plaease give me some advice from the kind of filters I am going to need to well.......I need advice on just about everything. If you can help either message me or email me or something! start here...then get some books

figure out basically what you plan to do with the tank and we will be more than happy to answer some more specific questions...unfortunately your question is just way to broad

however, a couple things to start thinking about are: do you want a reef? or just fish?

and: how much money do you have to invest in this project, SW can get really expensive really fast
