Ok if ur like me and got the 2.5 g AGA Minibow u have the mini whisper, and i hate that dang catridge crap. So i looked at the design and though it was kinda crappy to use that filter catrdige. So instead of using that i took it out, got an AC 150 Sponge and some filter floss . Wrapped the floss around 3 or the 4 sides (2 small sides and 1 larfe) and then stuck it in so the non covered side was against the side the water overflows. Pushed it down and threw some lava rock on top. Now you benifit from increases bacteria area, and easy catrdige cleaning which was about the same as before but more biological filtration which is crucial in small tanks
